Funding for Indigenous Wildcats
The University of Arizona offers current and incoming Native American students personalized scholarship and financial aid services. Please see their website for more information on the Arizona Native Scholars Grant and other funding information.
Native American Student Affairs (NASA) Scholarships
Students may search for the following scholarships through Scholarship Universe unless otherwise noted. In addition to the listed scholarships, limited emergency funding is available. For more information, visit the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships (OSFA).
Upon request, Native American students are required to provide verification of tribal enrollment or letter from an authorized tribal official verifying tribal descendancy.

| Betty B Chastain Scholarship | Native American ancestry in a degree or certificate program. Student must be taking a minimum of 12 units per semester. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA and must show financial need. |
| Alderton Scholarship | Native American students who demonstrate financial need and are endeavoring to further their education. Preference to those who demonstrate desire for advanced degrees. |
| Ben De Casseres Scholarship | Native American undergraduate student who demonstrates academic achievement & financial need. |
| Clarence and Margie Lintz Scholarship | Enrolled full-time at The University of Arizona. Be a resident of the State of Arizona. Majoring in civil engineering, education, or a health sciences field (e.g., nursing, etc.). Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for an incoming freshman or 2.5 for a previously enrolled college student. Demonstrate financial need. |
| Clarence & Gladys Logan Scholarship | For undergraduate students who are members of any Native American tribe within the State of Arizona. Recipient must provide community service appropriate to his or her professional skills. Financial need is not a factor in selecting the recipient(s). |
| Scott Campbell Memorial Scholarship | Incoming Native American students who have demonstrated a commitment to social activism on behalf of Native Americans and a desire to give back to their community. Recipients shall be graduates of an Arizona high school, Arizona resident, and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship may be renewable for no more than three additional years. The recipient must be making satisfactory progress toward their degree and maintain their academic standing in the college of their choice. |
| Carol Reed Scholarship | Pascua Yaqui tribal member. Renewable for 1 yr if maintains cumulative 2.0 - 2.5 or better GPA. |

| Dr. Thomas Maroukis Scholarship | Enrolled full-time in any discipline at The University of Arizona in good academic standing. The award recipients are eligible for renewal consideration if the recipients continue to meet the eligibility criteria (available Spring 2022). |

| Secrist Scholarship | Member of Tohono O'odham Nation enrolled at College of Medicine or other Health Sciences program. |
| Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Wassaja Memorial Scholarship | Applicants must be an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe with priority going to members of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation. Must possess and maintain a 2.50 semester and cumulative GPA for undergraduate students or a 3.0 semester and cumulative GPA for graduate students. Must be undergraduate or graduate or professional students within one year of completing their bachelors, masters, doctoral, or professional degrees. Must be a fulltime student. Recipients are strongly encouraged to provide volunteer community service to American Indian Tribes, American Indian Organizations, or State/Federal Departments or Agencies providing services to American Indian communities and populations. |
| Robin Coon Tohono O'odham Scholarship | Applicants must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student and a member of the Tohono O'odham Nation. Student must demonstrate academic merit and financial need. Preference shall be given to students that are graduates of Baboquivari High School or attending Tohono O'odham Community College. Award recipient(s) are eligible for renewal consideration, for up to five years, if he/she continues to demonstrate satisfactory academic progress as defined by the eligibility criteria. |

| Herbert D. Rhodes Memorial Scholarship | Native American students entering or presently enrolled full-time in any course of study at the. Renewable. |
| Martha Gresham Memorial Scholarship | Native American students actively engaged in undergraduate or graduate studies focused on understanding and continuing traditional Native American customs and practices. |
| Dautremont Memorial Scholarship | Native Americans, or those of a minority group, with demonstrated academic excellence. Recipients advised to contribute to the fund in the future. |
| Salvador A. Mazza Scholarship | Native American students entering the university and interested in medicine or law. This scholarship is renewable for the full academic career of the students selected. Candidates must be academically eligible and demonstrate financial need. Award recipient(s) are eligible for renewal consideration if he/she continues to demonstrate satisfactory academic progress. |
| Robert and Anna Rupkey Scholarship Fund | Must be enrolled full-time at The University of Arizona. Students must demonstrate that they are making satisfactory academic progress toward their degree and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given in order of priority to the following students: 1. Members of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, and/or 2. Members of an Apache Tribe. These awards may be used to support emergency situations. |
