Proceeds from ticket sales go to the Loft Cinema's Indigenous Film Committee. All are welcome at this event! 6:30 – 7:45 a.m., Nov. 3, 2023 Green Colonialisms’ Effects on Pastoralist and Indigenous Women in East Africa In this roundtable, three women from indigenous peoples in East Africa will discuss the impacts of green colonialism on themselves and their communities with three experts who work with the UN Special Procedures. Noon – 1 p.m., Oct. 3, 2023 Dr. Valerisa Joe-Gaddy's Native Voices in STEM Seminar This professional seminar series invites Native scientists, engineers, activists, community members and leaders to share their personal and professional journeys, providing inspiration to the next generation of change makers. 7:30 – 11 a.m., Sept. 23, 2023 National Clean-up Day @NewPascua We are cleaning up the Black Wash for an eventual trail to be built for students and families to use to walk to Lawrence MS. Come join us. If you need a ride let me know and I can get a UA van to transport. Please share with your contacts.
