Noon – 1 p.m., May 7, 2024 Native Voices in STEM: Dr. Don Hankins - Eleltek Waali (I'm Reading Country) Dr. Hankins combines his academic and cultural interests through applied research of indigenous stewardship practices as a keystone process to aid in conservation and management of resources. 6 – 9 a.m., May 5, 2024 4th Annual Southern AZ Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP) Awareness 5K Run/Walk We will have the 5k Run/Walk, performances for healing, and keynote presentations. This event is free and open to anyone who would like to attend. 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., May 2, 2024 3rd Annual National Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Day of Awareness Symposium This symposium will be featuring International, National, state, and local leaders. This is a compendium to the MMIP 5K Run walk we are putting on in an effort to provide more information and increase awareness on MMIP. 10 a.m. – Noon, April 30, 2024 Empowering Indigenous Youth Through the Love of Music and Culture Join us for an enriching musical journey that will inspire Indigenous youth to explore the field of music at the University of Arizona.
