Dr. Felina Cordova-Marks is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona (UA), Director of Community Engagement for the University of Arizona College of Public Health CoVHORT: COVID-19 Research Study, Chairperson for the Hopi Education Endowment Fund Board, Co-advisor for UA Native student organization-UA Native Student Action Advisory Board (SAAB), Leadership on the UA Native Faculty and former Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Arizona’s Cancer Center. Dr Cordova-Marks is a a mixed-methods researcher and is a published author on topics such as, cancer, cardiology, informal health caregiving, and American Indian health. She was recently awarded Tucson’s Woman of the Year-40 Under 40 by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and named a Health Equity Scholar by the American Psychosocial Oncology Society as well as a Tribal Research Cancer Control Program Fellow with Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board and an NIH Health Disparities Research Institute Fellow. Dr Cordova-Marksis also the recipient of the National Native American 40 Under 40 Award, and the University of Arizona Centennial Award.
