As part of the planning phase of this project, an online survey was distributed to University of Arizona Native and Indigenous faculty, students, staff, and Arizona Tribal Leaders, Tribal Elders, and Tribal Education Departments (2,099 in total). Respondents received multiple invitations and reminders to complete the survey between August 16 and September 14. In total, 440 individuals completed the survey. 

Individuals were asked to pick their top choices for what should be housed in the Center, separated into academic and social spaces, cultural spaces, and student support services.
