Myrhea Sherman

Myrhea is from a small-town on the Navajo reservation called, Tonalea, AZ in Northern AZ. She is of the Manygoats clan, born for the Water flows together clan. She is a Wildcat at heart and is proud to announce she will be starting her doctoral program in Fall 2021 through UArizona’s College of Education Center for the Study of Higher Education. As an undergraduate at UArizona, Myrhea served as a Native SOAR mentor for two semesters. At the completion of her bachelor’s degree, she then transitioned into the Native SOAR graduate assistant position. Myrhea is passionate about serving Native American K-12 students to access the resources that she did not have in middle and high school.
